This is my hubby, and his granny Zhuhuan, the crocheter in the house.
Hi there!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this—I’m excited to share our story and introduce you to The Way to You community.

It all started back in 2022 when my husband discovered that his Granny in China was making the most beautiful crochet flowers. We thought her work was absolutely lovely and decided to see if we could bring her creations to market.

We’ve always loved plants, but—full disclosure—we’re not great at keeping them alive! We figured there must be others like us who would fall in love with Granny's crochet flowers just as much as we did.

And guess what? Granny’s creations turned out to be a huge hit!
However, we quickly realized this wasn’t something Granny could keep doing forever—she’s turning 90 soon! (Hard to believe, right? She doesn’t look a day over 70.) We wanted her to have more time to relax and enjoy her family instead of staying up late making flowers for us.

In early 2023, we stumbled upon a group chat with about ten crocheters living in the countryside, just a couple of hours’ drive from Granny. Intrigued, we decided to visit them.

When we arrived, we met a group of incredible women—unemployed moms, housewives, and elders—each with amazing talent but few opportunities to share their work. Many of them were hoping to find a way to sell their creations and earn a little extra income.
Employment opportunities in the area are extremely limited, with the local economy relying heavily on agriculture and offering few other options. Many of the women we met have incredible talent, and we believe their work deserves to be seen and appreciated by a much larger audience. It’s about showcasing the strength and creativity of women and giving them the opportunity to shine.

This inspired us to create The Way to You—a project rooted in social responsibility, not just creativity. We’re committed to providing these women with a stable income and helping them navigate challenges like legal documentation and taxes, which is why we’ve hired an accountant to support them. They’re not just a team to us—they’re family. With our strong reputation and values, we’re so proud to say that many others now want to join our growing community.
To ensure that The Way to You remains sustainable, we’ve explored new possibilities for crochet flowers beyond their traditional uses. From branding projects and creative installations to shop window displays and special collaborations with museums, we’re constantly finding fresh ways to bring these beautiful creations into the world. With our artist background, we now proudly work with many museum gift shop around the country.

Our community has grown to over 70 members, and together we craft crochet flowers that are not only works of art but also symbols of resilience and hope. We take pride in turning this small passion project into a platform that empowers women, nurtures creativity, and carries a sense of responsibility to make the world just a little brighter.
